The Basic Approach to MBA Preparation

Before starting with the preparation, first and foremost, you need to know what exactly you want to do, what is it you are after and then do your planning accordingly. Here are some fundamental points one needs to ponder upon( Take a pen and paper and then write the answers to the following questions):
1. Which are the B-Schools that you are targeting?
2. How passionate you are about doing MBA?
3. How many hours of preparation will you be able to put in everyday.( it may be as low as half an hour a day to as many as you may please. But be honest with your answer. )

If your answer to the first question is 'strictly the Top-10 B-Schools of India', then you do not need to answer the 2nd question. Though the answer to the third question will change accordingly.

Nonetheless, now that you are clear about the league of colleges that you find yourself fitting into, get started with the planning part.

The Planning part essentially consists of the following points:
1. Time management
2. Flow of course/syllabus
3. The vital Add-ONs
4. Strategy for exams/mocks
5. GD-PI-WAT

All these points under planning shall be covered one by one in detail in the upcoming articles.
